So, what are we to do now that we’re living longer? Well, for many, one solution is to work longer. Fifty years old might be midlife, but now it’s mid-career, as more and more people are working into their 70s and 80s.

Before passing, David Bowie suggested, “Aging is an extraordinary process whereby you become the person you always should have been.” I would offer a corollary to that. Aging invites you into an intimate relationship with yourself such that you know who you are and what you want.

Within the last two days, I heard the above titled expression three times. My reaction was, "Is old bad?" And then, I saw my friend Kevin Kelly's quote, "The chief prevention against getting old is to remain astonished." Why not replace the word "old" with "boring"?
